How It Works
Your Project with Redhead Steel – Simple, Transparent Steps
We make the process straightforward from inquiry to delivery. Here's exactly what happens:
1. Inquiry & Pre-Qualification
Contact us or fill out our quick form. Tell us basics: project type (residential home, ADU, trusses only, etc.), approximate size, roof type (flat, hip, gable), and whether you have an architect or engineer. This helps us qualify and respond quickly.
2. Plans Submission
Send us your drawings, sketches, or architectural plans (PDF or images). If you don't have full plans yet, we can start with basic details and guide you.
3. Material Review & Engineering
Our in-house team reviews your plans for compatibility with our cold-formed steel systems, Florida building codes, high-wind requirements, and machine limits. We provide feedback and engineer the kit (stamped drawings if needed).
4. Bill of Materials & Custom Pricing
We create a complete bill of materials (BOM) and deliver a detailed, custom quote. Pricing is locked and valid for 7 working days (due to steel commodity fluctuations). No hidden fees — everything is clear upfront.
5. Proposal Review & Deposit
Review the proposal, ask questions, and sign off. Place your deposit to schedule production. We separate material/kit manufacturing from any optional erection/installation.
6. Manufacturing & Delivery
Your kit is precision-manufactured in our Florida facility (walls, roof trusses, floor joists, etc.). We ship FOB our location — ready for your crew or recommended installers. Track progress if needed.
